My Thoughts Monday #15: Jeremy Golden, How to Deal With a Difficult Season

“If they can get work done in here and continue to grow that’s what we need to be focusing on as strength coaches, especially when times are tough.”

It’s something that we have all come across, and if you haven’t at some point in the future you most likely will. Santa Clara’s Jeremy Golden shares with us today some ways he has helped keep his athletes involved in difficult times. This includes how he handles the student athlete’s he works with that are not playing, weather it be due to injury or being red shirted. Coach Golden brings up a few fantastic points, and am truly grateful for him sharing these experiences with us.

We are hoping to provide the best possible content for strength coaches with each of our shows. If feel this could provide value for anyone else in the strength and conditioning field please feel free to share.
