Henk Kraaijenhof: Performing is Silver, Timing is Gold. Peaking: Practical Guidelines

Even with the immense amount of resources we have in today’s day and age, peaking athlete’s is still somewhat of a mystery. Who better to get to the bottom of this mystery in a presentation for The Strength Coach Network then Henk Kraaijenhof.

Henk first discusses what the three primary components of peaking are, and breaks these components down to give you a brief description of what he deems most important in all three parts.

Henk discusses stress, and how some athlete’s handle it when it comes to peaking, and how he identifies if/when the team peaked.

Finally, he provides some guidelines for peeking/tapering your athletes.

We are hoping to provide the best possible content for strength coaches with each of our shows. If feel this could provide value for anyone else in the strength and conditioning field please feel free to share.
