Today we have an awesome talk with DePaul’s Ryan Nosak on the return to play protocol that he has been working on. After a quick run down of how he got up to Chicago he gets right into thee motivation behind why this has become such a passion of his. He then shares with us what some of the resources that helped him get the ball rolling and how they built their “template” to help their athletes progress as best as possible. He then shares with us some of the evaluations he’s utilizing and where the “check points” are for each block for the athletes, and their impact on progressing the athlete. Ryan dives deep into not just exercise selection, but also the volume and intensity’s of how he programs in these phases, along with “goals” for the athlete to “hit” in those movements. This is a great 15000 foot view of the program that they have built at DePaul with a ton of take-a-ways and ways to better help set up your own protocols. Make sure to give @rnosak a follow on instagram to see more of what they’re doing at DePaul.
