We are joined by Cincinnati Basketball’s Mike Rehfeldt to discuss progressing your program in this weeks edition of The Podcast. Mike dives right in and shares with us some of the work they have done with helping the athletes sleep and how it shows with performance. This includes the pro’s and con’s and what he saw from it. He then shares with us how his focus this year has been more of a performance based measurements like bar velocity measuring devices and force plates. This leads us into how he has developed as a coach and what things that, if he could, he would change that he did earlier in his career. We then discuss how the rule changes have impacted how he handles his guys though out the year, including the trials and tribulations of in season work with players. Mike finishes off by sharing with us what direction he seems himself going in and how that can best impact the student athlete’s he gets to work with.
