In this show we are going to try to dive a little deeper into the minds of the top practitioners in the world of sport performance to learn a bit more about who they actually are and how they got to where they are at today. Today we are joined by the Assistant Director of Sports Performance at DePaul University Ryan Nosak. Ryan, thanks for being with us today.

Before we start, who is Ryan Nosak?

I’m somebody who’s been molded by all my experiences in life and my family members who’s an old sole and a wanna be renaissance man.

1) Describe a learning situation that brought about an epiphany in your career

Starting at Penn State learning what “simple but not easy” means.

2) If you could ask one questions and you know you would get the answer what would that be and why?  

Jokingly, “What you gonna do brother when Hulkamania runs wild on you?”

Seriously, “I’d like to know why I was born, what am I set to do here?”

3) What’s your escape?

I started training away from DePaul at Quads Gym to be able to be in that presence. Outside of training I’ve found flotation tanks to be a reset button. Spending time with my finance diving into a Netflix binge.
