Today I have the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Keith Scruggs to discuss the role of real sport science in the development of athletes. After a review of how he got to USC Keith dives right into his dissertation. He shares with. Us not just what he’s looking at but what brought about the questions he’s hoping to find an answer too. We then talk about how this work impacts what they are doing with the athletes he gets to work with now, and what they are seeing with them utilizing this evaluation. He then looks at the role of consistency in these evaluations, and what he’s seeing with that and connections with how athletes can express their skills in the sporting exercise. We finish off discussing how this quick assessment can be implemented and utilized in different aspects of the sporting world.
