Title & Author: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Publisher & Year: Simon & Schuster; Revised Copy-1981
REVIEW:
“When dealing with people, let us remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity”. – D. Carnegie

The structure of the book is split into 4 parts, with each part discussing a new topic of dealing with people. Such as, “Fundamental Techniques in Handling People” and “Be a Leader: How to Change People without Giving Offense or Arousing Resentment”. The original copy of the book was written in the 1920’s, but it has been revised to the “changing currents of present-day life”. Included are remarkable examples of dealing with people from some of America’s most famous historical people; John D. Rockefeller, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Charles Schwab to name a few. If you want a book that is easy to read and will provide you a challenge personally then I recommend you read How to Win Friends and Influence People.
