In this edition of The Podcast I get to sit and talk with The Kansas Jayhawk Research, Coaching and Performance team; Assistant AD Andrea Hudy, and Dr. Andy Fry. In discussion they share with us how their relationship was built at KU, how each person and department has helped make the other better, and some of the work they have collaborated on. Coach Hudy shares some info on how the “science” has helped her motivate her student athletes, and both the pro’s and the con’s of what they have found in the studies. We finish up talking about some of the limitations and where there partnership will be going in the future.
We are hoping to provide the best possible content for strength coaches with each of our shows. If feel this could provide value for anyone else in the strength and conditioning field please feel free to share.
