We have been keeping our eyes on the situation at hand for the past several weeks to make sure that we are going to be doing what’s best for all the great attendees, partners, and presenters that are involved with CVASPS.
As we have observed where things are going, and how this pandemic is affecting people around the world we have decided to cancel the 2020 Edition of The Seminar. This is not an easy decision, but we do feel it is in the best interest of everyone involved.
With that being said, that does not mean that we are not going to provide you with some form of a discussion-driven education platform, but to do that in this time, we need to provide a unique platform. It means the exact opposite.
When we decided to cancel CVASPS the simple question was asked, “but what can we do NOW to ensure we provide the most unique and interactive learning experience to our ‘attendees’ virtually?” What can we do that is going to push the boundaries of continuing education, not just for this time in quarantine but going forward?
For that we bring you FREE-VASPS!
But what is FREE-VASPS? Let me start by sharing with you what will be similar to what we have done in the past, and for as long as CVASPS is here will NEVER change. We will provide you a line up consisting of some of the TOP practitioners in the world of sport performance, and for FREE-VASPS, that doesn’t change. We are so fired up to welcome these six leaders in the field.
Now, on to what will change. The first is that we are going to branch outside of just the preparation aspect of sports performance and incorporate sports medicine, administration, and coaches. In this unique time, I feel it is vital for us to find an answer to the question, “what is expected from strength and conditioning, and what can we do to be best prepared for it?” To answer that question, we have brought in some of the best in the country in their area.
These sensational professionals are:
On top of hearing from “the other half” of the performance world, we want to make this a unique learning experience. So, we have completely reformatted the structure of this event. We are going to have three days, each lasting three hours, that cover two topics.
These topics will have a 90-minute block. All of this should sound pretty familiar if you’ve ever attended The Seminar, but here’s where we are going to kick it up a notch. Each 90-minute block will have two people discussing the topic for 20 minutes each. After those 40 or so minutes are up, we are going to open the floor for a question and answer discussion with both of the presenters.
This dialogue will hopefully lead to some great back and fourths and help us dive even deeper into future questions, helping us all provide that much better support for our athletes. These topics are all going to be relevant to the state of the sporting world now and our role as performance professionals. This is to make sure we all can be better TODAY and soon when we can work with our athletes.
The presenters who are paired together and the topics they will cover are as follows:
So, there you have it. Three days of open, honest, candid sharing. This drives right into our primary goal of CVASPS, which has ALWAYS been, and ALWAYS will be to drive better conversations in the performance world.
That is what we are hoping to display at an elite level with FREE-VASPS. To my knowledge this will be the first event of its kind, and I am elated about this opportunity. I hope you are too.
I would love for you to join us on May 18, May 19, and May 22 at 2:00 PM EDT for these unique opportunities to learn and grow. Please leave your email in the box below so we will be able to keep you up to date with this event as it develops and send you the invites to join us in the discussions.
Email list will be distributed to our sponsors
